Hey guys,

Carbohydrats play an important role for your nutrition. It is important to eat good carbs, e.g. potatoes. You should avoid bad carbs like bread, cake or noodles made out of wheatflour (generally wheat).

Today I have some vegan patties made out of sweetpotatoes, lentils and a carrot. A meal of healthy/good carbs combined with many nutrients. This combination gives you a whole bunch of necessary nutrients. Vitamins, carbs, good fat, magnesium… In combination with some curd you get also proteins. A good dinner or lunch for everybody and also for sportsman. I hope you’ll like it.

You’ll need:

  • 1 big sweetpotato
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 can lentils
  • 4 tbsp oats
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 tsp turmeric
Breading (optional): 1/2 cup walnuts, 1/2 cup oats
How to:
1. Boil the sweetpotato and the carrot in water with some salt and vegetable broth for about 20 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, wash the lentils. Mix together the sweetpotato, carrot, lentils, oats, mustard and turmeric until it’s a smooth mixture. If it’s too liquid, you can add some more oats.
3. Form patties in the size you want ‚em.
4. Crush the walnuts and turn around the patties in there or turn them around in the oats.
5. Lay them on a baking sheet with some baking paper.
6. Preheat oven: 360°F / 180°C.
7. Bake the patties for about 20 minutes. (you can also make them in a pan)
There are many ways you can eat it: as a patty for a burger, just as addition for vegetables, as supplement for your salad or just with some curd and with many other things.
I did once have it with some curd (4 tbsp curd, 2 tsp yogurt, seasoning, optional: diced cucumber) and once with some salad.
I hope you like it. Enjoy.

Hallo meine Lieben,
