Fresh applecake

Hey guys,

An applecake is always a good idea, right? Not if it’s with a lot of sugar and butter…then it´s just a bomb of calories. You think a healthy applecake doesn’t taste as good as those unhealthy ones? So you’re wrong! This clean and healthy applecake tastes as good as they do. WHY NOT having one?

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup {100g} oat flour
  • 1/2 cup {70g} oats
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 5 oz {150 ml} almond milk
  • 3 tbsp {100g} greek yogurt 
  • 2 tbsp monk fruit (or any other sweetener)
  • vanilla
  • one handful {50g} shredded walnuts
  • 1 diced apple
→ Combine all the ingredients and pour into a baking pan that’s sprayed with oil.
topping: 1/2 cup {100g} apple sauce, 1/4 cup {30g} shredded walnuts, 1 apple (sliced), vanilla
→ Combine the toppings and cover the dough.
Preheat oven: 425°F / 200°C and bake for 30 to 40 minutes.

Hallo meine Lieben,

Apfelkuchen geht einfach immer! Doch ein Apfelstreuselkuchen hat dann doch zu viele Kalorien, zu viel ungesundes Fett und Zucker… Ein gesunder Apfelkuchen schmeckt nicht? Oh doch! Und er ist dazu noch super saftig!

Zutaten:

  • 100 g Hafermehl
  • 70 g Haferflocken
  • 1 TL Backpulver
  • 2 Eier
  • 150 ml Mandelmilch
  • 100 g Magerquak / Griechischer Joghurt
  • Vanille
  • 2 EL Monkfruit (oder irgendein anderes Süßungsmittel)
  • 50 g gemahlene Walnüsse
  • 1 Apfel (gewürfelt)
→ Alle Zutaten mischen und in eine eingefettete (am besten mit Kokosöl) Backform füllen.
Topping: 100 g Apfelmus (ungesüßt), 30 g gehackte Walnüsse, 1 Apfel (gespalten), Vanille
→ Vermische alle Zutaten für das Topping  und bedecke den Teig.
Heize den Ofen auf etwa 200° vor und backe den Kuchen für 30-40 Minuten.

  1. The combination of such ingredients is rather unusual, but tasty. The softness and pleasant aroma make the baking special. We can easily cook it.

  2. An apple cake is quite a yummy dessert! Yes, it has so many calories, too much unhealthy fat and sugar, but nothing happens if you bake it!

  3. But apple pie has too many calories, too much unhealthy fat and sugar so I can not let it eat often.
